The Number Thesaurus was developed to resolve this inherent difficulty. 

Until potential users have become aware of this new Web site, there is no way to determine the extent to which the site will be used. It may be that the developers of this Web site have simply misjudged the desire for such a system. If that is the case, then that will be good news for the few who do use the system. The reason is that no subscription will be necessary because the expense of maintaining the site will not be a burden for the developers.

On the other hand, if the site proves to be popular, it may be necessary to offer the service on a subscription basis in order to support the bandwidth and maintenance costs attendant to a site with numerous visitors.
